We grow basil at Sankhya Farm and make pesto. We only use Genovese Basil.
Made on the same day within few hours of harvesting, it captures the best flavour before basil starts to oxidize.
We use the best quality premium ingredients, to give you a flavour filled product.
Food and Wine Pairing Suggestions:
- Broiled salmon topped with rich, green Sankhya Farm Pesto. Serve with pasta and a Sauvignon Blanc.
- Pairs well with grilled, roasted, baked, or even fried meats, and a Malbec wine.
- Sangiovese wine goes well for beef and game dishes infused with pesto.
- For vegetarians, roasted vegetables infused with pesto with or without pasta, and a dry white wine.
- As an hors d'oeuvre, try with monaco biscuits or toasted bread and a slice of tomato topped with pesto, and extra virgin olive oil.
